Zachariah Butler

Zachariah was born on November 11th, 1764 in St. Paul's Parish, Hanover Co., VA.  Zachariah's father was Zachariah Butler and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Brooks.  His maternal grandfather was Patrick Brooks. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Patrick, Nathan, Joel, Mary and Anna.  He was the third oldest of the six children. He had a half-brother named James McGehee.  He died at the age of 77 on April 8th, 1842 in Maury Co., Tennessee.
