Patrick Butler 
Patrick was born on March 1st, 1760 in St. Paul's Parish, Hanover Co., VA.1 Patrick's father was Zachariah Butler and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Brooks. His maternal grandfather was Patrick Brooks. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Nathan, Zachariah, Joel, Mary and Anna. He was the oldest of the six children. He had a half-brother named James McGehee. He died at the age of 78 in 1838 in Elbert Co., GA.1 General Notes
