Nathan Butler

Nathan was born in 1762 in St. Paul's Parish, Hanover Co., VA.  Nathan's father was Zachariah Butler and his mother was Mary Elizabeth Brooks.  His maternal grandfather was Patrick Brooks. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Patrick, Zachariah, Joel, Mary and Anna.  He was the second oldest of the six children. He had a half-brother named James McGehee.  He died about 1810 in Louisa Co., VA.
