Rhoda Rebekar was born on August 8th, 1838 in Elbert Co., GA. Rhoda Rebekar's father was James B. Butler and her mother was Elizabeth Frances Hansard. Her paternal grandparents were James McGehee Butler and Sarah Christopher. She had three brothers and four sisters, named William, James, John Singleton, Martha Jane, Permelia Caroline, Margaret and Nancy S.. She was the third youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 69 on February 3rd, 1908 in Shelby Co., AL.-
