Thomas Payne Bowles 
Thomas Payne was born on November 25th, 1875. Thomas Payne's father was Richard C. Bowles and his mother was Sallie Howard Payne. His paternal grandparents were Abraham Perkins Bowles and Elizabeth Barrett Richardson; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Clark Payne and Sallie Curd Flannagan. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Willie Curd, George Ashby, Riva Eleanor and Mattie Eugenia. He was the oldest of the five children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Perkins and Mary Eliza.-
