Mattie Eugenia Bowles 
Mattie Eugenia was born on August 28th, 1885. Mattie Eugenia's father was Richard C. Bowles and her mother was Sallie Howard Payne. Her paternal grandparents were Abraham Perkins Bowles and Elizabeth Barrett Richardson; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Clark Payne and Sallie Curd Flannagan. She had three brothers and a sister, named Thomas Payne, Willie Curd, George Ashby and Riva Eleanor. She was the youngest of the five children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Perkins and Mary Eliza. She died at the age of 92 on July 8th, 1978.-
