Richard C. Bowles 
Richard C. was born on May 6th, 1837. Richard C.'s father was Abraham Perkins Bowles and his mother was Elizabeth Barrett Richardson. His paternal grandparents were Anderson Bowles and Nancy Perkins; his maternal grandparents were George Washington Richardson and Elizabeth Barrett Payne. He had four brothers and six sisters, named George Anderson, Katherine Eleanor, Spotswood Perkins, William Adolphus, Ann Elizabeth, Mary Eliza, Sallie Curd, Lucy Susan, Alice Eugenia and Elma Virginia. He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 86 on June 7th, 1923.-
