Sallie Howard Payne 
Sallie Howard was born on April 4th, 1842. Sallie Howard's father was Thomas Clark Payne and her mother was Sallie Curd Flannagan. Her paternal grandparents were James Payne and Matilda Frances Dix; her maternal grandparents were James Flannagan and Mary Bowles. She had a brother and two sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named William Joseph, Mary F., Martha and ?. She was the third oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 53 on May 28th, 1895.-
