Martha Payne 
Martha was born on December 20th, 1849. Martha's father was Thomas Clark Payne and her mother was Sallie Curd Flannagan. Her paternal grandparents were James Payne and Matilda Frances Dix; her maternal grandparents were James Flannagan and Mary Bowles. She had a brother and two sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named William Joseph, Mary F., Sallie Howard and ?. She was the second youngest of the five children. She died at the age of 33 on March 29th, 1883.-
