Martha Ann Bowles

Martha Ann was born about 1835. Martha Ann's father was Drury Wood Knight Bowles and her mother was Mary Ann Richardson. Her paternal grandparents were Knight Bowles and Martha Wood Ellis; her maternal grandparents were George Washington Richardson and Elizabeth Barrett Payne. She had five brothers and three sisters, named George Knight, John Sam, Richard A., Thomas Joseph, Drury Wood, Lucy Susan, Letitia Payne and Mary Eliza. She was the fifth oldest of the nine children.
