Ruby Anderson Armstrong 
Ruby Anderson was born on January 20th, 1882 in Ashland, Hanover Co., VA. Ruby Anderson's father was Zachariah Pulliam Armstrong and her mother was Willie Ann Amos. Her paternal grandparents were David Armstrong and Frances Mitchell Pulliam; her maternal grandparents were William Franklin Amos and Frances Jane Faudree. She had six brothers and four sisters, named David, Dudley Pulliam, George Washington, Kemper, Zachariah Pulliam, Walter Shelton, Lenora, Hester, Nancy Jennings and Amber Bell. She was the second youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 60 on October 25th, 1942.-
