Sally Sumpter

Sally was born in 1780 in Henry, Virginia, United States.¹ Sally's father was *Henry Sumpter and her mother was Agnes D Dillon. Her paternal grandparents were *Richard Sumpter and *Jean LNU; her maternal grandparents were *William Dillon and Mary Belcher. She had four brothers and three sisters, named John, William, George Washington, Henry, *Sarah Compton, Agnes and Polly. She was the second youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 36 on June 16th, 1816 in Franklin, Indiana, United States.¹
