Henry Sumpter

Henry was born in 1775 in Of, Henry, Virginia, United States.¹ Henry's father was *Henry Sumpter and his mother was Agnes D Dillon. His paternal grandparents were *Richard Sumpter and *Jean LNU; his maternal grandparents were *William Dillon and Mary Belcher. He had three brothers and four sisters, named John, William, George Washington, *Sarah Compton, Agnes, Sally and Polly. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 75 in 1850 in Reynolds, Missouri, United States.¹
