Agnes Sumpter

Agnes was born in 1775 in Franklin, Virginia, United States.¹ Agnes' father was *Henry Sumpter and her mother was Agnes D Dillon. Her paternal grandparents were *Richard Sumpter and *Jean LNU; her maternal grandparents were *William Dillon and Mary Belcher. She had four brothers and three sisters, named John, William, George Washington, Henry, *Sarah Compton, Sally and Polly. She was the third youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 29 in 1804 in Virginia, United States.¹
