Male Richard Franklin McCotter

Richard Franklin was born on February 13th, 1869 in Oriental, NC.1   Richard Franklin's father was Thomas York McCotter and his mother was Caroline Delamar.  His paternal grandparents were Richard Harvey McCotter and Julia Ann Delamar. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Thomas York, John, Claud Duvall Mckay, James Winfred, Walter, Pauline, Reginia Bucklin, Mary Elzi, Annie Byron and Elizabeth "Bessie".  He was the oldest of the eleven children. He had four half-brothers and seven half-sisters, named Richard Frank, Thomas York, Claud D, James W, Pauline, Regenia Bucklin Ange, Minie, Annie Brown, Mary E, Anna and Annie Estelle.  He died in Duncan, Harnett, North Carolina.
