Male Claud Duvall Mckay McCotter

Claud Duvall Mckay was born on May 22nd, 1882 in Vandemere, Pamlico Co., NC.1   Claud Duvall Mckay's father was Thomas York McCotter and his mother was Caroline Delamar.  His paternal grandparents were Richard Harvey McCotter and Julia Ann Delamar. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Richard Franklin, Thomas York, John, James Winfred, Walter, Pauline, Reginia Bucklin, Mary Elzi, Annie Byron and Elizabeth "Bessie".  He was the eighth oldest of the eleven children. He had four half-brothers and seven half-sisters, named Richard Frank, Thomas York, Claud D, James W, Pauline, Regenia Bucklin Ange, Minie, Annie Brown, Mary E, Anna and Annie Estelle.  He died at the age of 74 on November 18th, 1956.2
