William McKendree Clayton

William McKendree was born in 1824.¹ William McKendree's father was James Clayton and his mother was Sarah Mixon. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Joshua Elliott, Elijah Mixon, Harriet Asbury and Johanna Bruce "Jo". He was the fourth oldest of the five children. He had two half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Dempsey, James, Betsey, Mary "Polly", Fanny, Rhoda Ann and Rhoda Ann (II). He died at the age of 17 in 1841 in Carroll Co., GA.²
