Elijah Mixon Clayton

Elijah Mixon was born in 1822.¹ Elijah Mixon's father was James Clayton and his mother was Sarah Mixon. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Joshua Elliott, William McKendree, Harriet Asbury and Johanna Bruce "Jo". He was the third oldest of the five children. He had two half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Dempsey, James, Betsey, Mary "Polly", Fanny, Rhoda Ann and Rhoda Ann (II).
