Norman was born on April 20th, 1894.  Norman's father was Percy Alexander Findlay and his mother was Alice Emily Jones.  His paternal grandparents were Henry(Harry) Alexander Findlay and Jane Watson. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Algernon, Selwyn, Ila, Meryl, Gwendoline, Lorna and Nancy.  He was the third oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 73 on March 14th, 1968.

Norman and Jane(Jenny) were married on December 7th, 1921.


Norman's second family with Doris Eileen Oakley

Norman and Doris were married on January 1st, 1963.
