Nancy was born on October 9th, 1910.  Nancy's father was Percy Alexander Findlay and her mother was Alice Emily Jones.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry(Harry) Alexander Findlay and Jane Watson. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Algernon, Norman, Selwyn, Ila, Meryl, Gwendoline and Lorna.  She was the youngest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 92 on December 24th, 2002.

Nancy and Eric  were married on May 3rd, 1934.  They had four sons named John, Brian, Geoffrey and David.
