Lorna was born on May 17th, 1906.  Lorna's father was Percy Alexander Findlay and her mother was Alice Emily Jones.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry(Harry) Alexander Findlay and Jane Watson. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Algernon, Norman, Selwyn, Ila, Meryl, Gwendoline and Nancy.  She was the seventh oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 80 on May 5th, 1987.

Lorna and Raymond were married on June 10th, 1931.  They had two sons and two daughters, named John, Michael, Margaret and Barbara.
