Thomas David was born in 1872 in Chart-Next-Sutton Valence, Kent, England.  Thomas David's father was Charles STANLEY and his mother was Sarah.  His paternal grandparents were David STANLEY and Ann LAMBERT. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Charles, Frank E, Frederick William, Sarah Rose and Annie.  He was the second youngest of the six children.
