Sarah Rose was born in 1865 in Chart-Next-Sutton Valence, Kent, England.  Sarah Rose's father was Charles STANLEY and her mother was Sarah.  Her paternal grandparents were David STANLEY and Ann LAMBERT. She had four brothers and a sister, named Charles, Frank E, Frederick William, Thomas David and Annie.  She was the second oldest of the six children.
