Frederick William was born in 1869 in Chart-Next-Sutton Valence, Kent, England.  Frederick William's father was Charles STANLEY and his mother was Sarah.  His paternal grandparents were David STANLEY and Ann LAMBERT. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Charles, Frank E, Thomas David, Sarah Rose and Annie.  He was the third youngest of the six children.
