Albert Thornton

Albert was born in 1851 in Morton, Bingley, Yorkshire, England.¹ Albert's father was William Thornton and his mother was Mary (Thornton). His paternal grandparents were Thomas Thornton and Harriet Asquith. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Benjamin, James L, Hannah and Mary Ellen. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 33 in March 1884 in Keighley, Yorkshire, England.
