Victoria was born on November 21st, 1840 in Buckingham Palace, London, England, United Kingdom.  Victoria's father was Prince Consort Albert Francis Albert Augustus Charles Emmanuel of House Saxe-Coburg and Gotha and her mother was Queen Victoria Alexandrina Victoria of House Hanover.  Her paternal grandparents were Duke Ernest The 1. of House Wettin and Princess Louise of House Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg; her maternal grandparents were Prince Edward Augustus of House Hanover and Princess Victoria Marie Luise Viktoria. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Bertie, Alfred, Arthur, Leopold, Alice and Beatrice.  She was the oldest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 60 on August 5th, 1901 in Schloss Friedrichshof, Kronberg im Taunus, Grand Duchy of Hesse, German Empire.
