Charlotte was born on September 11th, 1751.  Charlotte's father was Duke Anton Ulrich of House Saxe-Meiningen and her mother was Princess Charlotte Amalie of House Hesse-Philippsthal.  Her paternal grandparents were Duke Bernhard The 1. of House Saxe-Meiningen and Elisabeth Eleonore of House Welf.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 75 on April 25th, 1827.
