Pertenah Younkin (Carson)

Pertenah was born in 1827.¹ Pertenah's father was John C Younkin and her mother was Kathleen “Jane” Connelly (Younkin). Her paternal grandparents were Frederick G Younkin and Catherine Patton (Younkin). She had two brothers and five sisters, named Moses, Alexander, Kate, Elizabeth, Jane, Agnes and Rosabelle. She was the sixth oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 68 in 1895.¹
