Andrew Motion

Andrew was born on September 29th, 1723 in St. Andrews and St. Leonards. Andrew's father was Alexander Motion and his mother was Janet Collin. His paternal grandparents were John Motion and Christian Traill. He had four brothers and three sisters, named John, James, John, Alexander, Christian, Margaret and Elspeth. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.
