Alexander Motion

Alexander was born on June 10th, 1733 in St. Andrews and St. Leonards. Alexander's father was Alexander Motion and his mother was Janet Collin. His paternal grandparents were John Motion and Christian Traill. He had four brothers and three sisters, named John, James, Andrew, John, Christian, Margaret and Elspeth. He was the youngest of the eight children.
