David Lees

David was born about 1841 in Stair. David's father was James Lees and his mother was Jane Galbraith. His paternal grandparents were James Lees and Margaret Stewart; his maternal grandparents were William Galbraith and Margaret Limond. He had two brothers and three sisters, named William, John, Margaret, Mary and Jane. He was the second oldest of the six children.
