Margaret Elizabeth was born on May 8th, 1865 in Monroe County, Indiana, USA. Margaret Elizabeth's father was Elijah Thomas McCown and her mother was Nancy Jane Williams. Her paternal grandparents were James M. McCown and Nancy Mourning Lewis. She had three brothers and three sisters, named William Parker, Elijah Thomas, Edward Mordicai, Mary Mourning, Amanda Jane and Julia Florence. She was the second youngest of the seven children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named John Lewis, James Andrew and Frances Ann. She died at the age of 70 on May 20th, 1935 in Indianapolis, Hamilton, Indiana, USA.-
