Elijah Thomas McCown 
Elijah Thomas was born on May 5th, 1818 in Pittsylvania County, Virginia, USA.1 Elijah Thomas' father was James M. McCown and his mother was Nancy Mourning Lewis. His maternal grandparents were Zacharias Lewis and Winifred Mustain. He had a brother and five sisters, named William M., Eliza A, Nancy J, Mary J., Sarah Ann and Margaret Jane. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 95 on November 17th, 1913 in Bean Blossom, Monroe, Indiana, USA. He was buried on November 19th, 1913 in Chambersville Cemetery.1 -
