Amanda Jane McCown 
Amanda Jane was born on October 21st, 1856 in Bean Blossom, Monroe, Indiana, USA. Amanda Jane's father was Elijah Thomas McCown and her mother was Nancy Jane Williams. Her paternal grandparents were James M. McCown and Nancy Mourning Lewis. She had three brothers and three sisters, named William Parker, Elijah Thomas, Edward Mordicai, Mary Mourning, Julia Florence and Margaret Elizabeth. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named John Lewis, James Andrew and Frances Ann. She died at the age of 22 in 1878.-
