Emily Rankin 
Emily was born on May 3rd, 1823 in Littleton Twp,Grafton,New Hampshire.1 Emily's father was David Rankin and her mother was Persis Daniel. Her paternal grandparents were James Rankin and Margaret Witherspoon; her maternal grandparents were Increase Daniels and Elona Thayer. She had a brother and seven sisters, named David, Charissa Daniels, Melinda, Elona, Chastina, Harriet N., Persis Daniel and Ellen. She was the second youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 35 in 1858.1 Death Notes
