Samuel Hanby

Samuel was born on February 8th, 1781.  Samuel's father was Cpt Jonathan Hanby and his mother was Sarah Matilda Dalton.  His maternal grandparents were Samuel Dalton Sr and Anne. He had four brothers and five sisters, named John, David, Gabriel, William, Susannah, Mary, Nancy, Jan and Sarah.  He was the fifth youngest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 65 on May 24th, 1846.
