Gabriel Hanby

Gabriel was born in 1785.  Gabriel's father was Cpt Jonathan Hanby and his mother was Sarah Matilda Dalton.  His maternal grandparents were Samuel Dalton Sr and Anne. He had four brothers and five sisters, named John, David, Samuel, William, Susannah, Mary, Nancy, Jan and Sarah.  He was the third youngest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 53 in 1838.
