David Hanby

David was born on January 5th, 1778.  David's father was Cpt Jonathan Hanby and his mother was Sarah Matilda Dalton.  His maternal grandparents were Samuel Dalton Sr and Anne. He had four brothers and five sisters, named John, Samuel, Gabriel, William, Susannah, Mary, Nancy, Jan and Sarah.  He was the fifth oldest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 28 in 1806.
