Jakob Jozef was born on February 5th, 1854 in Golub-Dobrzyn, Poland.1   Jakob Jozef's father was Abram Lewin (Layb) Pieniek and his mother was Szrenia Warszawa.  His paternal grandparents were Tobiasz Pieniek and Ester Bezbrody; his maternal grandparents are Jakob Warszawa and Bayla. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Tobiasz Markus (Mordko), Ber, Hena Gitel, Chana Sura and Hendel.  He was the third oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 3 on May 6th, 1857 in Golub-Dobrzyn, Poland.1
