Jacob M. was born in 1840 in Conway or Pope co Ar.1   Jacob M.'s father was Jacob (Jake) Ennis and his mother was Stellice (Stilla) Burnett.  His paternal grandparents were William  Ennis Sr. and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Wiliam Burnett and Elizabeth (Betsy) Ballou. He had three brothers and five sisters, named William H., John N., Lewis M., Daughter, Elizabeth Catherine (Eliza), Sarah "Ann", Eliza M and Olivia P.  He was the fourth youngest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 34 on August 15th, 1874 in Pope co Ar.2 




Jacob M.'s first family

Jacob M. and Julia Ann were married in a religious ceremony on August 9th, 1863 in Pope co Ar marriage book D pge 91.3   They had two sons and a daughter, named John Andrew "Drew", William L. and Sarah Frances.


Jacob M.'s second family

Jacob M. and Martha Elizabeth Jobe were married in a religious ceremony.  They had a son named Jacob Marion Efrances.
