Elizabeth (Betsy) was born on January 12th, 1774 in Va.1   Elizabeth (Betsy)'s father was Thomas Ballou and her mother was Lucy. She had a sister named Martha.  She was the younger of the two children. She had a half-sister named Martha (Patsy).  She died at the age of 70 in November 1844 in according to Bible @@ Conway co Ar.2

Elizabeth (Betsy) and Wiliam were married in a religious ceremony on September 2nd, 1797 in Amherst co Va-Vol 23,24,25 pge 5.3   They had a son and eight daughters, named John H, Lucinda, Mary Ann (Polly), Frances Howard, Elizabeth L, Stellice (Stilla), Martha (Patsy), Emily and Eliza Jane.
