Stellice (Stilla) was born on May 8th, 1810 in Roane co Tn.1   Stellice (Stilla)'s father was Wiliam Burnett and her mother was Elizabeth (Betsy) Ballou.  Her paternal grandparents were John H. Burnett and Mary (Molly) ?; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Ballou and Lucy. She had a brother and seven sisters, named John H, Lucinda, Mary Ann (Polly), Frances Howard, Elizabeth L, Martha (Patsy), Emily and Eliza Jane.  She was the fifth oldest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 42 on September 14th, 1852 in Pope co Ar.2 




Stellice (Stilla)'s first family

Stellice (Stilla) and Jacob (Jake) were married in a religious ceremony in 1829 in Tn? Date and place unknown at this time.  They had four sons and five daughters, named William H., John N., Jacob M., Lewis M., Daughter, Elizabeth Catherine (Eliza), Sarah "Ann", Eliza M and Olivia P.

6 Saw headstone in Childers cemetary September 1997. One side of stone is for husband other side is for Elizabeth Catherine but is ingraved L.B.Duvall .C.L. Boyd (expert on tomestones) of Dover Ar says it stands for Lizzie Beth
