Margaret Thomson

Margaret was born in 1811 in Ecclesmachan.¹   Margaret's father was James Thomson and her mother was Jean Duncan.  Her paternal grandparents were Philip Thomson and Dorothea Hart. She had seven brothers and six sisters, named James, Alexander, James, Thomas, William, Philip, David, Dora, Jane, Jessie, Isabella, Janet and Helen.  She was the third youngest of the fourteen children.  She died before 1889 in Moffat.²
