Alexander Thomson

Alexander was born on September 12th, 1793 in Linlithgow and his baptism took place there on September 14th, 1793.¹

Alexander's father was James Thomson and his mother was Jean Duncan.  His paternal grandparents were Philip Thomson and Dorothea Hart. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named James, James, Thomas, William, Philip, David, Dora, Jane, Jessie, Isabella, Janet, Margaret and Helen.  He was the second oldest of the fourteen children.  He died at the age of 26 in December 1819 in Jamaica.²
