Dorothy ORD

Dorothy was born on April 29th, 1776 in Whitby, Yorkshire, England and her baptism took place on June 20th, 1776 in Stainsecar, Whitby, Yorkshire, England.¹ Dorothy's father was Robert ORD and her mother was Jane GOFFTON. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Robert, Henry, Christopher, Henry, Henry, Mathew, Elizabeth, Jane and Ann. She was the seventh oldest of the ten children. She died due to a childhood disease at the age of 2 on December 3rd, 1778 in Stainsecar, Whitby, Yorkshire, England.¹
