Henry was born on March 6th, 1778 in Stainsecar, Whitby, Yorkshire, England and his baptism took place there on March 7th, 1778.1   Henry's father was Robert ORD and his mother was Jane GOFFTON. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Robert, Henry, Christopher, Henry, Mathew, Elizabeth, Jane, Ann and Dorothy.  He was the eighth oldest of the ten children.  He died as an infant at just 29 days old on April 4th, 1778 in Stainsecar, Whitby, Yorkshire, England.
