Ann was born on July 28th, 1768 in Stainsecar, Whitby, Yorkshire, England and her baptism took place there on August 24th, 1768.1   Ann's father was Robert ORD and her mother was Jane GOFFTON. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Robert, Henry, Christopher, Henry, Henry, Mathew, Elizabeth, Jane and Dorothy.  She was the fourth oldest of the ten children.  She died at the age of 54 on February 21st, 1823.
