Timothy was born in 1762 and his baptism took place on November 30th, 1762 in Cawthorne by Barnsley.1  Timothy's father was George Senior (Taylor) and his mother was Rachel Naylor (of Cawthorne).  His paternal grandparents were George Senior (Hoylandswaine) and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were William Nailor and Mary. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Isaac, JOHN, William, Ebenezer, Zacharias, Mary, Sophia and Jennet.
