George was born after 1731. George's father was George Senior (Hoylandswaine) and his mother was <Unknown>.  His paternal grandparents were John Senior (of Silkston) and Martha Biltcliff. He had a brother named George. He had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named Geo., Martha, Eliz., Ann and Rebekah.  He died in 1790.  He was buried on April 30th, 1790 in Cawthorne near Silkstone.1

‌George and Rachel were married on October 22nd, 1753 in Silkstone. They had six sons and three daughters, named Timothy, Isaac, JOHN, William, Ebenezer, Zacharias, Mary, Sophia and Jennet.
