Ebenezer's baptism took place on March 10th, 1776 in Cawthorne by Barnsley.1  Ebenezer's father was George Senior (Taylor) and his mother was Rachel Naylor (of Cawthorne).  His paternal grandparents were George Senior (Hoylandswaine) and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were William Nailor and Mary. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Timothy, Isaac, JOHN, William, Zacharias, Mary, Sophia and Jennet.
